Wiki Birthday Scavenger Hunt
Happy 15th birthday to the wiki! On March 25, 1995 the wiki was invented by Ward Cunningham, chairman of the ZoomAtlas Technical Advisory Board.
In celebration of his great invention that has shaped the Web landscape into what it is today by enabling continuous online collaboration and creation, join us for a digital scavenger hunt to begin Tuesday, March 30 at 8:00 a.m. Search the ZoomAtlas map for a hidden crystal ball that represents a look into the future of the wiki and the exciting possibilities for its continued transformation over the next 15 years.
See the official contest rules below for complete details on how to play and how to become eligible for hints. Be the first to find the crystal ball and e-mail the correct GPS coordinates to info@zoomatlas.com, and win $200. Second place wins a Flip Video Mino Camcorder, and ten runners up will receive a ZoomAtlas lighted magnifying glass.
The scavenger hunt will close and winners will be announced after 12 contestants have e-mailed the correct GPS coordinates to ZoomAtlas.
Have fun and good luck!
